ABOUTME
Jolene Kua (Hwee Min) turns a year older on Dec 29 every year and on that time this year, she will turn 16. She still lives in the eastern coast of a red dot on the map, and even though her parents speak of plans to move, it's probably going to take a while. For another year she will attend a school in the middle of the country, where green, black and white pwns all other colours, though this time she'd try and study harder instead of slacking of like always. But then every year Jolene makes this promise to herself and others, and never keeps it in the end.
AWESOME!NESS
It almost sounds oxymoronic, but Jolene is a great lover of Asian drama serials. Well, it probably does not sound right because Chinese isn't one of her strongest subjects (probably one of the weakest), but English drama serials are played at times way past her bed time, so the Asian ones that play at 7PM get her attention much easier. Jolene claims that it helps improve her Chinese, it might, but more importantly she likes watching the actors and actresses act out the plot. Ocassionally she catches a few movies that she really likes, and lists it down here (in aphabetical order) along with her other fan(girly) obsessions.
